Northern Divers NZ (NDNZ) are Northland’s only Northland based commercial diving company located in Whangarei. Our team is made up of experienced divers and contractors from Northland.
Northern Divers NZ was established to give clients in Northland a reliable local dive team who can mobilize at short notice to carry out any in water and sub surface task.
Our team members have an exceptional reputation within the diving industry. We will provide quality service with a dedicated commitment to our health and safety systems and procedures.
Our diving is carried out under work safe guidelines and AS/NZ2299.1 standards. All divers are qualified via the Australian Diver Accreditation Scheme (ADAS). All divers have a work safe Certificate Of Competence (COC) to dive in New Zealand.
Our team
Steve Te Tai
Steve was born and raised in Northland and began his diving career in Whangarei over 20 years ago.
Steve has returned to Northland after a rewarding career as a Air Diver and Saturation Diver, working in oil fields around the world.
Steve has spent the majority of his time working on numerous projects from the Far North to the deep South of New Zealand and everywhere in between. Steve has experience in just about every kind of diving you can imagine.
Steve's experience is vital to our ability to provide high level diving solutions across Northland.
Steve Rowley
Our other Steve has also had a massive diving career abroad. He has worked as an Air Diver and Saturation diver all over the world and has a wealth of industry experience. Steve has been involved in some huge projects in the Oil and Gas industry over the last 20 years.
Steve has a farming background and brings some very valuable engineering, fabricating and design experience to the team.
